BURA TOBACCO PROCESSING INDUSTRY
Bura tobacco processing factory is
established in 2015 with 35,000,000 birr initial capital and 100,000 square
meter land acquired from SNNPR Sidama zone. Currently there are around 4 permanent
and 40 temporary workers. When fully
operational, 155 permanent and more than 200 temporary workers will be
employed.

With this opportunity, Seid Hassen Hamza Business Company is currently running integrated Agricultural farming project in Sidama Zone, Loka
Abaya woreda, in particular place called Bukito. He has created temporary and permanent job opportunity for the surrounding citizens. Technology is is transformed also to the locality farmers.
Therefore, in order to transform the agricultural products on the small plot of land that has been taken for integrated farm and on the farmers garden in the form of out grower using accumulated work experience to the agro processing industry i.e., tobacco processing factory is prepared. This is towards its plan of undertaking modern and large scale tobacco processing plantation.. The project is also designed to apply out grower scheme by giving seed and training how to grow and cultivate, store and transport.
Vision Of The Company
The vision of the company is to be the first and roll model modern tobacco processing factory in the country and being the leading supplier of quality processed and packed tobacco to the national tobacco agency to substitute the imported tobacco.
